The bill (Reg. No. 2364) aims at ensuring implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens, residing in the supervised zone, to life and health, as well as the right to social protection through introduction of respective guarantees and compensations.

It is suggested amend article 2 of the existing law.

People’s deputies focused attention on the conclusion of the Central Scientific experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat. Under the conclusion, the tariff for electricity, heat, water supply and water disposal for population permanently residing in the supervised zone, as well as for enterprises, institutions and organizations (of all forms of ownership) that are located on the territory of the supervised zone is set in the amount of 50 per cent of the applicable tariff for the respective group of consumers.

Experts noted that the explanatory note to the bill lacked economic grounds in regard to the suggested amount of a tariff for these services for the respective group of consumers.
